A message from Kathryn:

Spring makes everyone in Chicago scamper.  We are so struck by cabin fever that the first March day over 40 degrees lights this town up.  It also starts the wheels turning about how to improve our homes and our lives while we’re at it.

Nothing is better for the soul, after a long spring day, than sitting on a comfortable chair on a perfect patio in the midst of a beautiful outdoor space.  Fresh air, great garden smells and blue sky.  No matter how much you love your couch and Oprah, getting outside can be completely energizing, like spending the day at a spa.
